SUMMER

HIKING

Pemberton and the surrounding areas boasts some of the most beautiful hikes in BC. From the world famous Joffre Lakes (pictured), easy local trails such as Nairn Falls, or more remote hikes, there is something for every adventurer. All Trails is a fantastic source for local hikes!

MOUNTAIN BIKING

Pemberton is home to world-class mountain biking surrounded by stunning landscapes. The options are endless for both intermediate and advanced mountain bikers. For beginners, we suggest driving to nearby Whistler for easier trails! For maps and more info visit Pemberton Valley Trails Association or Trail Forks.

GOLFING

Pemberton is home to two of the most beautiful golf courses in BC. Big Sky Golf is one of the most highly aclaimed public golf courses in the province (and has a fantastic restaurant as well!). Sunstone Golf Club offers an impressive 18 holes and a laid back atmosphere. Both courses are nestled below the imposing Mount Currie and are sure to challenge you!

HORSE RIDING

Being in the countryside, Pemberton has access to many beautiful trails. Our friends at Copper Cayuse Outfitters are a short 15 minute drive from Lazy Acres and offer rides from 1 hour to multiple days. Horseback riding is the perfect way to get out and explore the beauty of Pemberton and the surrounding area. They cater to complete beginners and experienced riders alike!

FISHING

Pemberton is blessed with plenty of lakes and freshwater rivers. Either bring your own gear or hire a local guide Pemberton Fish Finder to make the most of your experience!

Pemberton is blessed with plenty of organic farm stands. Visit Laughing Crow Organics while you’re at the Beer Farmers, take a look at Blue House Organics for fresh veg, or Happilife Farm for beautiful flowers. Drive down the Pemberton Meadows and see what you can find!

WINTER

SKIING AT WHISTLER BLACKCOMB

Just a scenic 25 minute drive south to Whistler is one of the best ski resorts in the world (but you probably already knew that). Whistler Blackcomb needs no introduction, and with over 8000 acres of skiing with something for everyone, it is an endless playground whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced shredder.

BACKCOUNTRY SKIING

With high alpine basins, small glaciers, long avalanche paths, and subalpine glades, Pemberton and the surrounding area has it all. We highly recommend hiring a guide to show you the area and keep you safe during your adventure. If you’re feeling super adventurous, Blackcomb Helicopters offers Heli Skiing with access to spectacular terrain.

SNOWMOBILING

Pemberton offers amazing snowmobiling terrain, from the Pemberton Ice Cap to the Hurley and Duffey Lake road, the possibilities are endless. Hire snowmobiles and a local guide from Broken Boundary for a once in a lifetime adventure!

ICE FISHING

With an abundance of trout filled lakes, Pemberton and the surrounding area are an amazing place to try a classic Canadian past time. If you need gear (and a guide!) head to Pemberton Fish Finder

FOOD & DRINKS

Pemberton is home to plenty of amazing eateries, these are some of our favourites!

Known for their great burgers, mac’n’cheese, and a well curated craft beer menu, One Mile is a local favourite!  Open 11am-8pm daily with dine in, patio & takeout available.

The Pony restaurant combines rustic charm and outstanding food, with menu items sourced from local Pemberton area farms. The bar is pretty fine too!

Great fresh sushi, authentic Japanese dishes, and great service. Fish & Rice, Sushi & Beyond is open 4pm-9pm Tuesday-Saturday for take out and dine in.

Incredibly fresh and delicious Mexican cuisine, Coco Mexican Food is a must try in Pemberton. Simple, with high quality ingredients and a focus on flavour. 

TOWN SQUARE

Great brunch, lunch and dinner (try the fried chicken!).
Happy hour available 4-6pm on weekdays with drinks
and appy specials.

Every locals favourite brewery! The Tasting Room overlooks gorgeous farmland with views of the mountains and is open daily for Summer, with plenty of space for everyone. 

Spectacular setting, incredible menu selection, and great service define the experience at Fescues Restaurant. Great food and service, and the best Moscow Mules in town!

With a great patio overlooking Mount Currie, and
plenty of fanastic beers, Pemberton Brewing Company is a must for craft beer lovers.

Pemberton’s largest heated covered patio which is nestled below the stunning backdrop of Mt. Currie. A relaxed and friendly atmosphere and fantastic food.

Lovely local, organic bakery with excellent coffee and delicious treats. Opens early (6am Mon-Sat, 7am Sun) and closes when sold out.
